Only a 20-minute drive from Hobart, the Derwent Valley produces many of Tasmania’s highest quality wines. Rising straight up out of the water, the commanding green hills provide serenity for the thousands of black swans in the calm waters of the Derwent River.

    Nestled on the banks of The Derwent River, these award-winning wines include 5 different varietals from 10.75 hectares of land.

    Our Wine Tasting Experiences valued at $15.00 will be complimentary for guests attending for Spring in the Vines. Our Shed Restaurant will be open from 12-5pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for lunches.

  • Meadowbank Wines

    OPEN: FRI & SUN 11AM-3PM, SAT Ticketed Event only

    Hidden at the end of a winding dirt road, Meadowbank stands testament to an original defiance and decades of stewardship.

    Friday & Sunday will be open between 11 and 3pm for walk in guests, as we pour new vintages of sparkling, iconic Pinot and Chardonnay, and cult-like Gamay and Syrah.

    Saturday is a ticketed event only with The Meadowbank Long Lunch. 12-3pm, starting at the winery. Limited tickets. Bookings here.

  • Viridian Wines

    OPEN SAT & SUN 11AM-5PM

    Try wines from their vertical Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot Noir tasting (vintages going back to 2008) to see the influences of season and bottle ageing. Sparkling lovers, this is also the official launch of our Late Disgorged 2009 Blanc de Blancs, on lees for 13 years. Amazing by itself, sensational with oysters. Also on our list is our zero alcohol drinking verjuice. Delicious with soda water, or straight over ice.

    You are welcome to bring your own delicious nibbles to enjoy with your tasting.
